Welcome to Online Jobs for Teens! This site is dedicated to helping teens, high school students and college students find online jobs and make money online.

Although many other sites that discuss online jobs tend to be spammy and are more interested in making money off of you than helping you make money yourself, this site is truly dedicated to helping teenagers find legit ways to make money and improve their financial situation.

Online Jobs for Teens is always honest and direct when talking about the types of online jobs available to teens and how much they can realistically earn from them. We’re not out to con anyone or to propose “get rich quick” schemes.

The jobs and sites we recommend are run by trustworthy, helpful and legitimate online businesses that really will allow you to earn money. In addition, we also provide general information about teen employment and advice on how to succeed in the job market.

This site is divided into a few sections to make it easy to find what you are looking for. Each section contains a series of articles on that particular topic to help you learn more about it:

Types of Online Jobs for Teens:

There are many different types of online jobs to choose from. From writing to tutoring to online surveys, you should easily be able to find something that you’ll enjoy doing.

The way to succeed in an online job is to choose something that you’ll be good at and something you will enjoy. It sometimes takes time to find out what that is so feel free to try out different online jobs until you find something that is right for you.

This section includes articles about every type of online job for teens such as writing, tutoring, surveys, typing, photography, blogging, online sales, video game testing, user testing, micro jobs and virtual assistant jobs.

Online Jobs for Teens Under 18:

If you are a teen under 18 years of age, your online job options are slightly more limited but it is still possible to make money online at this age. You can do all of the online jobs listed above but there are slightly fewer websites that allow teens under 18 to do them.

Don’t despair though, we listed all of the online job options and websites available to teens at every age. No matter how old you are, you’ll still be able to find an online job just right for you.

This section includes an general overview of online jobs for teens under 18, as well as specific articles about online jobs for 13 year olds, 14 year olds, 15 year olds, 16 year olds and 17 year olds.

Online Jobs for 18 Year Olds:

Once you reach age 18, your online job options are limitless. You are no longer restricted to sites that only allow teens of a certain age to join. You can do all of the online jobs mentioned on this site and join every site.

This freedom has its drawbacks though because it can make it all very overwhelming and leave you wondering where to start. Fortunately, this section can help you get started by giving you an overview of your options and going over the various sites available to you.

Teen Employment: Statistics and Info:

As a working teen, whether online or offline, it is important to know the rules, regulations, stats and other information about teen employment. Teen workers have the same rights as adults and you should know what these rights are.

In addition, teen workers also face many challenges in the work force which are unique to their situation. If you don’t know what these challenges are, you won’t know how to prepare for them or how to deal with them. This is why it’s important to educate yourself on the topic.

This section includes articles about teen labor laws, the youth unemployment rate, an overview of the benefits of teenage jobs, advice on how to balance work and school, advice on money management for teens and etc.

In conclusion, our goal with this site is to help teens not only improve their financial and employment situations now but also in the future as adults.

Even if you are planning on going into a conventional, offline job in the future after you become an adult, you can always use what you learned on this site to make some extra money online in your free time. The specific websites we recommend may come and go but the general employment/business advice, tips, tools and information we provide remains relevant for years to come.

We hope you find the information on the site helpful and it gives you all the tools you need to be successful both offline and online! Thank you for visiting!

Hi, am Loren and I’m 16yrs old. I was thinking of signing up to be an online tutor for smaller children but I’m concerned about how safe a site is. Which site would you recommend?

    1. Admin

All of the established tutor sites are pretty safe. I would just be careful with sites like Craigslist and other online marketplaces where almost anyone can post a listing.

Just so everything is clear, I wanted to point out to everyone that this website, Online Jobs for Teens, does not actually hire for the jobs listed on the site. We only list jobs that are available on other sites. You’ll have to visit the site you are interested in to apply for the job you want.

Hi, I’m Alyssa. I’m 17 years old, and I don’t have the confidence or motivation to go out and apply for a job. I’m really nervous about talking to people in person. Are there any tips you can give me, or show me how I can work from home, possibly online? I love taking photos, and I love cosmetology.
